grep: apply --include and --exclude to files named on the command line
They only filtered files found under -r, so "grep --exclude='*.min.js'
foo *.js" still searched the minified files. GNU grep skips a
command-line file when a pattern matches a suffix of its name: the whole
name, or a part that starts right after a '/'. Stdin and missing files
are not affected, as in GNU.

grep: reject an interval whose lower bound is above its upper bound
Oniguruma reads a{2,1} as a possessive a{1,2}, so grep -E 'fo{2,1}'
matched lines where GNU grep fails with "Invalid content of \{\}" and
exit 2. Check basic and extended patterns for such an interval, outside
bracket expressions, before compiling them.

grep: pad -T line numbers and byte offsets like GNU grep
A regular file on stdin got the fixed 19-column width of a pipe instead
of a width from its size, and byte offsets were never padded.

grep: read an unmatched ) in -E as a literal
GNU grep -E treats a closing parenthesis with no open group as an
ordinary character, so `grep -E 'a)'` matches "a)". We rejected the
pattern with "unmatched close parenthesis". Basic regexps keep
rejecting an unmatched \).
