Rust project using criterion via codspeed-criterion-compat. Benchmarks exist in benches/runtime_bottlenecks.rs. Existing CodSpeed workflow needs fixes: wrong runner (macos-15 instead of ubuntu-latest) and missing mode parameter.

Repository Analysis

Benchmarks already use codspeed-criterion-compat v4.3.0 (latest). CodSpeed badge already in README. Fixed workflow: switched runner to ubuntu-latest, added mode: simulation, added system dependencies install step.

The CodSpeed workflow required multiple fixes for cross-platform compilation (cfg gates for cpal, rdev, event loop in main.rs, and rustfmt), which exceeded the PR submission retry limit. The fixes are committed locally but cannot be pushed.

Language not supported

The CodSpeed workflow setup required multiple code changes for cross-platform compilation (gating cpal, rdev, CaptureEngine behind cfg(target_os = "macos"), adding PlatformKey type alias, fixing event_loop creation in main.rs, and applying rustfmt). These iterative fixes exceeded the PR submission retry limit (3). The last two commits (rustfmt formatting fix and main.rs event_loop fix) could not be pushed to the remote branch.
